Condition Based Monitoring

Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) opens up a world of possibilities and opportunities for any business to monitor, diagnose and fully understand how an asset is performing in its operational environment, without the need to cease function or production.

Vibration Analysis

All rotating equipment produces a unique vibration signature that can be analysed for abnormalities.  The type of variance detected can signal different problems and pinpoint the likely cause of the fault.

These can include:

  • Unbalance
  • Looseness
  • Resonance
  • Pump issues
  • Gear faults/wear
  • Inadequate lubrication

Infrared Thermology

Via our non-intrusive Infrared Thermal Imaging surveys we will provide you with a comprehensive item specific report together with any anomalies detected and recommended corrective actions.

Probable causes can include:

  • Bearings
  • Overheating
  • Steam traps/valves
  • Flammable gas leaks
  • HV issues
  • Wiring faults
  • Heat exchanger blockage
  • Refractory applications

Motion Amplification

Motion Amplification is a video processing technique that detects minute amounts of machinery movement and then amplifies them to the extent that they become visible to the naked eye.

  • Benefits of using Motion Amplification:
  • Safe
  • Fast
  • Efficient
  • Suitable for a wide variety of applications
  • Compliments root-cause analysis
  • Provides actionable information
  • Reduces downtime
